Alison Dickerson, MSN, APRN, FNP-C

Alison Dickerson, MSN, APRN, FNP-C is a board-certified family nurse practitioner and a native of the Tri-State area. From a young age, Alison knew she wanted to help others and began her healthcare career at just 16 years old as a nurse’s aide in long-term care.

She earned her nursing degree in 2000 from The Christ Hospital School of Nursing, where she graduated on the Dean’s List. Alison spent 18 years at The Christ Hospital, including 13 years in emergency medicine. In 2012, she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Cincinnati.

After years of frustration with the limitations of the traditional healthcare system, Alison pursued advanced practice nursing. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing and graduated with distinction from Chamberlain College of Nursing in 2017.

Since graduation, Alison has focused on caring for individuals and families with an emphasis on health, wellness, and preventative care. She believes that while modern medicine has an important place, the body also has an incredible ability to heal from within. Over the past decade, Alison has personally transformed her own health by shifting her focus from medication-centered care to a wellness-based approach.

Alison empowers her patients to take an active role in their healthcare journey, emphasizing healing through whole foods, movement, adequate rest, and mental well-being.

She currently offers primary well and sick care, comprehensive physicals, HRT, and IV therapy, with plans to expand services in the future.

Outside of work, Alison enjoys gardening, reading, Pilates, cooking, and spending time in nature with her three sons, her husband, and their fur baby.
